Girls on the range Scholarship
Are you A Lewis-Palmer Female athlete?
The Girls on the Range (GOTR) Athletics Scholarship is available to any Lewis Palmer senior female athlete that is planning to pursue an undergraduate degree, associates degree, or trade school certification in the Fall of 2026. The Girls on the Range Athletics Scholarship will be awarded in the amount $1,000 and can be applied to any accredited institution where the student is enrolled full-time.
The application deadline is March 31, 2026.
In order to apply for the Scholarship, applicants must fit the following, qualifying criteria:
- Senior female athlete
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Must compete on any one of the following Lewis Palmer High School female teams during their senior year: Cross Country, Field Hockey, Gymnastics, Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Swim & Dive, Wrestling, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field, Cheer, Poms/Dance
- Students who compete on any of the LPHS teams but attend a school other than LPHS are still eligible. The selection committee will take into consideration any special circumstances that may apply to determine eligibility.
As part of your application, you will be asked to submit the following, required materials:
- A complete application
- Your full high school transcript
- Two letters of recommendation one from a teacher, one from a coach, both persons not related to you
Completed applications, with all materials, must be received by the GOTR selection committee by 11:59pm on March 31, 2026. Applications submitted past the deadline will not be considered. Any incomplete or incorrect statement will directly impact consideration of your scholarship application.
Students who are identified as finalists for the scholarship will be notified in April 2026. Top finalists will be asked to do an interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee. Final selection will be made prior to the end of the school year.
